Food Plant: Rumex acetosa (Sorrel), Rumex acetosella (Sheep's Sorrel) Eggs: laid in batches Mine: July-May Notes: Initially forms very small Coleophora-like fleck mines. Frass is in a central line. Several larvae may mine a leaf. It then leaves the mine (a vacated mine is shown) and window feeds on the leaves.
