Notes: Initially forms very small Coleophora-like fleck mines. Frass is in a central line. Several larvae may mine a leaf. It then leaves the mine (a vacated mine is shown) and window feeds on the leaves. A local species in the UK found in damp meadows, downland, sandhills and in the rides and clearings of woodland.
