Food Plant: Phillyrea latifolia (Mock Privet)

Notes: A blotch mine with copious dense dark frass filling the mine, leaving clear edges. The mine may occupy the whole leaf. The larva leaves the mine to pupate. Found in France, Italy, Croatia and the islands of the Mediterranean, from the Balearics to Crete.
