Food Plant: Geum aleppicum (Common Avens), G x 'Borisii' (Boris avens), G.urbanum (Herb Bennett)

Mine: Bivoltine: summer & early autumn.

Pupa: Outside the mine

Notes: Initially a short gallery leads to a full depth blotch. This gallery is usually ovverrun by the blotch. Frass black and plentiful. Local. (Formerly called Metallus gei). Mine shown is on Geum urbanum.
