Food Plant: Acer platanoides (Norway Maple)

Notes: Forms blotch mines on the leaf tips of very young, tender leaves. The mine has a characteristically speckled appearance due to frass deposition (as shown). The larva is pale in colour and can be seen bottom left in the above mine.
