Food Plant: Betula spp. (Birch) Mine: Summer Notes: The older part of the mine is characteristically a red-brown colour and the mine contains little frass as the larva ejects it through a slit. A large blotch mine is formed. The larva pupates in the mine in a disc structure. Mine shown on Betula verrucosa.
