Food Plant: Acer pseudoplatanus (Sycamore) Egg: laid in the centre of the leaf Mine: early Summer Notes: Forms a large central blotch mine, which rarely reaches the leaf edge. There may be more than one mine in a leaf and two excised pupal discs are shown. The pupa forms inside a disc in the mine, which is made furthest away from the leaf centre.
