Food Plant: Dock species (Rumex), including R.acetosella (Sheep's sorrel) Mine: Bivoltine, May to September Pupa: External to the mine. The pupa has anterior and posterior spiracles Notes: A common miner. The mine starts as a short corridor on the lower surface and then becomes a large upper surface blotch (as shown). Several larvae can mine together. The mine shown is on Sheep's sorrel .In Sheep's sorrel the whole leaf becomes mined (as photo).
