Pupa: External to the mine. The pupa has anterior and posterior spiracles

Notes: A common miner. The mine starts as a short corridor on the lower surface and then becomes a large upper surface blotch (as shown). Several larvae can mine together. The mine shown is on Sheep's sorrel .In Sheep's sorrel the whole leaf becomes mined (as photo). Adult emerged from mine 06.ix.2004 and confirmed by Michael Ackland from the gen det.
