Pupa: Outside the mine

Notes: A very long, white, upper surface gallery which follows the veins and can appear angular because of this.Frass is large and granular, which can be on one side of the gallery (as shown). Usually several in one leaf. Widespread and locally common. Mine shown on Arctium sp.
