Food Plant: Apium dulce (Celery), Heracleum (Hogweed), Angelica, Levisticum (Lovage), Pastinaca (wild Parsnip), Ammi, Smyrnium olusatrum (Alexanders)

Mine: Summer and early Autumn

Pupa: External to the mine

Notes: Can be a pest on celery. Mine is deep and leads to a blotch, which is usually coloured yellow or Brown. Mine illustrated is on Alexanders.
