Food Plant: Dipsascus fullonum (Wild Teasel), Knautia arvensis (Field Scabious), Succisa pratensis (Devil's-bit Scabious)

Notes: The larva feeds along the midrib, making short corridors into the leaf (as shown, in Dipascus). The side branches are longer in Knautia and Succisa. The pupa, which is white, is formed in the midrib. There are at least two generations a year. A widely distributed miner in Great Britain. Mine shown on Teasel,
