Food Plant: Crataegus (Hawthorn), Sorbus aucuparia (Rowan), Prunus spinosa (Blackthorn), Mespilus germanica (Medlar)

Mine: Univoltine: Autumn (over winters full grown in the mine).

Pupa: Outside the mine

Notes: Initially a small, roundish, upper surface blotch (as shown on Mespilus germanica), which enlarges as the mine matures. The larva is shown.
