Food Plant: Crataegus (Hawthorn), Sorbus aucuparia (Rowan), Prunus spinosa (Blackthorn), Mespilus germanica (Medlar)

Mine: Univoltine: Autumn (over winters full grown in the mine).

Pupa: Outside the mine

Notes: Initially a small, roundish, upper surface blotch, which enlarges as the mine matures (as shown on Prunus spinosa)There may be several mines on a leaf (as shown)
