Mine: Univoltine: early Summer.

Pupa: Inside the mine, in a spherical cocoon.

Notes: A gallery running from the mid-rib and developing into a full depth blotch at or towards the tip of the leaf. (Formerly called Rhynchaenus quercus). The larva is pale coloured and has a pale brown head (As shown)
