Food Plant: Cirsium arvense (Creeping thistle), possibly other Cirsium spp.

Mine: unknown

Notes: A common miner in England, Wales and Ireland. Sometimes found in Scotland. Initially mines the rosette leaves and then enters and mines the stem. Found on rough ground, grasslands, at the sides of paths, roads and in woods.
