Food Plant: Holcus mollis (Creeping soft-grass), Arrhenatherum elatius (False Oat-grass) and probably other Poaceae

Mine: March-May; July

Notes: Makes flat whitish mines. the larva is a pale yellowish-grey with a pale brown head. Has overlapping broods and can be trivoltine. Pupariation occurs outside the mine (as shown). A common species found in a wide variety of habitats.
