Food Plant: Inula conyza (Ploughman's-spikenard)

Mine: April-May

Notes: Mines the lower leaves, making them hollow. The mine is along the midrib and broadens into a blotch. The mine can be seen in the leaf base above. Pupates in the base of the leaf. Found locally on chalk downs in Southern England. The moth emerged on 19.v.2006.
