Food Plant: Ranunculus spp. (Buttercup), R.acris (Meadow Buttercup), R.bulbosus (Bulbous Buttercup), R.repens (Creeping Buttercup) Mine: early Summer and Atumn Notes: The mine appears as a dark brown blotch at the apex of the leaf (as shown), superficially resembling a diseased part of a leaf, with the frass being partly in strings.
