Mine: Summer, early Autumn

Notes: A long whitish upper surface mine. The frass grains are small and can occur close together (as shown). This miner is probably overlooked and is not uncommon. Pupation is outside the mine. Mine shown is on Cirsium arvense (Creeping Thistle).
