twisting gallery leads to a blotch

Food Plant: Rubus idaeus (Raspberry). Also Filipendula ulmaria (Meadowsweet), Fragaria vesca (Wild Strawberry), Fragaria x. ananassa (Garden strawberry), Potentilla anserina (Silverweed), Potentilla reptans (Creeping Cinquefoil) and Sanguisorba minor (Salad Burnet).

Notes: A narrow upper surface gallery to start, then broadening and zigzagging to create a false blotch (as shown). Mine shown on Fragaria x. ananassa (Garden strawberry).
