Food Plant: polyphagous,
on deciduous trees and shrubs. Mine: July to April. Notes: Larva mining leaves. The single case is progressively extended from the oral end. Rings of leaf-cuticle are added from the upper surface of the blotch, and project on the dorsal side of the case. The case lies prostrate against the leaf surface. Image:© David Manning |
