Food Plant: Quercus (Oak) Egg: Upper side of leaf Mine: July, September - October Notes: A short contorted gallery, usually near midrib. The larva in the free feeding phase eats windows from the leaf under surface (as shown) and is a grey-green, with white lateral and dorsal spots.
