Notes: A large, whitish, upper surface blotch. Often pyriform. Widespread. As the mine ages it can appear as a large brown blotch. A mature larva is shown. The prothoracic dorsal plate is edged black. In ventral view (lower photo), the meso and meta thoracic plates are prominent. The larva also has ringed legs on the throax.
