Food Plant: Quercus (Oak) Mine: Univoltine: summer Pupa: Outside the mine Notes: A large, whitish, upper surface blotch. Often pyriform. Widespread. As the mine ages it can appear as a large brown blotch. The immature larva is shown. It has a pale dorsal prothoracic plate. In ventral view the spots on the meso and metahorax are more clearly seen.
