Mine: Bivoltine: Summer & early autumn

Pupa: Outside the mine

Notes: An upper surface gallery, narrow at first but, widening considerably towards the end. The larva is shown at the end of the gallertry. Not common, but widespread. Southern England and Inverness-shire. Mine shown on Alnus glutinosa
